Welcome to my website
Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask and he will tell you the truth. —Oscar Wilde Irish novelist, poet and dramatist (1854 -1900)
The image below is a close-up detail of Sea Woman, one of my hand painted, mask-shaped sculptures.
Masks are my art form, my favourite vehicle of expression. I sculpt my masks, I do not mold them on anyone's face. I then illustrate them as if they were a three dimensional canvas. My creations are mounted on a variety of natural materials such as driftwood or stone that I shape, carve or enhance. I also always write a story for each piece, but on my website you will see only a brief description of the theme following each title, except for a few sample texts published online for some of my masks.
Visit my Art Gallery page to see my most recent artwork and if you like what you see, please tell a friend!

Sea Woman is part of a collection called "On the Face of the Waters". That is also the title of the art book I recently wrote and published (see Newsletter for details).
